Pentek 158673 KDF Shower Filter System is an inline shower filter system that contains just over one pound of KDF media. The KDF media in the Pentek 158673 can help prevent the drying of skin and hair by reducing chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, bacteria and scale from your shower water.
The Pentek shower filter has a 20,000 gallon capacity or one year. If you notice a decrease in water pressure then your shower filter may need to be changed sooner. To replace this shower filter all you need to do is purchase a new Pentek 158673 shower filter system.
The Pentek 158673 shower filter unit installs on a standard ½ in threaded arm. After installation please make sure to flush for 5 minutes before using to remove all carbon fines.
